Worship, Words and Wisdom for Lent

Our worship for the six Sundays in Lent is being linked by themes selected by our Minister, Terry Nowell. Each week symbols are being added to a Lent Cross to aid our thinking about Jesus' passion, suffering and death. These will also feature in our celebration of Christ's resurrection on Easter morning.

The Lent Cross in chapel is made form the trunk of our Christmas tree to remind us, and visitors, of how the Christmas and Easter stories link Christ's birth and death.

House groups across the circuit are following a set of linked studies on our lent themes:
Images of God / Better or Worse / Do I really want this man in my life ? / A matter of life and death / So the darkness shall be the light.
